3. What information is collected about me?
The customer register stores the customer’s first name, last name, street address, postal code, city, country, email address, and phone number. For corporate customers, the company name and business ID are also stored.
In addition to the information mentioned above, data may be collected via email, phone, social media, customer meetings, and other situations in which the customer provides their information.
The system we use utilizes cookies or similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage. Cookies are text files exchanged between the browser on your device and the server. These technologies are used for analytics and targeted marketing purposes.

4. Legal Basis and Purpose of Personal Data Processing
Personal data is used for:

In addition, some data may be retained for a longer period as required to meet legal obligations, such as those related to accounting and other responsibilities.
All personal data is protected against unauthorized access, transfer, and other unlawful processing. Servers are protected against data breaches and denial-of-service attacks.
Personal data is stored and protected in accordance with the EU GDPR requirements applicable from 25 May 2018.
Only employees of Lakeus WebSolutions Oy have access to customer data. These employees are trained to use the register data securely and ethically. Each employee only has access to the personal data necessary for performing their job duties.

6. Disclosure of Data to Third Parties
We disclose personal data to partners who are essential for enabling our operations.

7. Other Rights Related to the Processing of Personal Data
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679), the data subject has the following rights:

• Right to access personal data (Articles 12 and 15)

• Right to rectify personal data (Article 16)

• Right to withdraw consent for processing personal data (Article 7)

• Right to erasure of personal data (“right to be forgotten”) (Article 17)

Individuals listed in the register have the right to request the controller to delete their personal data from the customer register in accordance with Section 29 of the Finnish Personal Data Act.
Registered individuals also have other rights under the EU GDPR, such as the right to restrict processing in certain situations.
Requests must be sent to the controller in writing. The controller may request proof of identity if necessary. The controller will respond to the customer within the timeframe specified in the GDPR.
